When looking at your site, you will notice that the Child Watch hours are not on your Branch's Home Page. That is because this page is a static page and every change that is needed has to be made by the idea house. That is why we recommmend you put your Child Watch hours, which change regularly, on your Branch News page (also referred to as the Hot Button page). A representative at each branch is in control of this page and can update it as often as needed.
We suggest you put you Child Watch hours at the top of the page so they are easy to find and in the same place for each branch. Also, make the title Body Copy Medium (the default style and what you return to after clicking th Remove Formatting button) and Bold. Then make the hours Body Copy Small.

Google Calendar
The Google calendar can be accessed by the member from the Branch New Page, also called the Hot Button Page. It is branch specific and can be used to highlight different events happening at your branch, such as a Teen Night or Parent's Night Out. It is better to use the calendar than posting these events on the Branch News Page because you don't have to remember to take the event down the day after it happens. Since it is a calendar and viewed by month people forgive you for having old information on it. Unlike they would if that same past event information was on your News page, which would be viewed as laziness or inefficiency.
To use the calendar you must have a Google account. Once you have that set up, go to Google's home page and click on 'more' in the top left. In the drop down menu, select 'Calendar.' If you haven't done so already, you will be asked to log into your account.
You should now see a calendar set to month view. Simply verify you are on the right month and click on the date of your event. In the pop-up box fill in the title of your event then click on 'Edit event details.' Here you can uncheck 'All day' to set your times and also add a brief description. Then click save and your event will be added to your calendar. To verify that, you can go to the client side of your site, navigate through to the calendar, and see it there.

Anchors and Linking to another ConMan page
Anchors
One thing to keep in mind when using anchors, is that you want to think of the anchor as the landing place, or where you want to end up after clicking on the link.
Click on the ConMan page where you want the anchor to be and name the anchor. Do not have any spaces or special characters in the anchor name.
Highlight the text you want to link from and click on the “Earth Link” button.
In the drop down menu for Link Type, choose Link to anchor in the text.
In the drop down menu under Select an Anchor By Anchor Name choose the anchor you made previously. Then click OK.
Click the Update button for the changes to take effect.
Linking to another ConMan Page
There is a different procedure if you want to link from one ConMan page to an anchor on a different ConMan page.
Step one is the same. Create and name your anchor.
Then go to the other ConMan page where you want to link from, and create your link.
This time, instead of choosing Link to anchor in text, leave the link type as URL.
Go to the page, on the client side, that you want to link to and copy the part of the URL after the .org (ex: /contacts.cfm or /branchName/news.cfm)
Paste that link into the URL field on the Link Info window. Directly behind that link add the # symbol followed by the name of the anchor you made previously.
The entire link will look like the following: www.ymca.org/contacts.cfm#anchorName
or www.ymca.org/branchName/news.cfm#anchorName
Click OK and Update your ConMan page.
